A fascinating choir season has begun

CAMERATA’s autumn season offers no less than 4 a capella concerts and 2 philharmonic projects.

We will perform a versatile a capella repertoire in the Copenhagen and North Sealand area, sing Britten’s War Requiem with the Copenhagen Philharmonic in October and The Messiah right before Christmas. At the same time, we are busy planning the following year which will include a CD recording. Keep yourself up-to-date on this website, and join in one of our auditions if you want to try out your skills in singing with us.

Audition for Camerata

Would you like to sing with one of Denmark’s best choirs?

The Copenhagen Chamber Choir CAMERATA is auditioning for all voices for upcoming projects. We are looking for project assistants, as well as substitutes for absentees.

The audition will take place on Tuesday, 21 August in Esajas Church in Copenhagen.

For the audition you are asked to perform a song of your own choosing – a capella is fine. Additionally, we will assess you for scale, quartet singing (easy prima vista), and possibly a prima vista piece of medium difficulty.

Sign up for the audition by sending an email to nysanger@camerata.dk.

The Copenhagen Chamber Choir CAMERATA was founded in 1965 and is currently one of Denmark’s leading chamber choirs. The choir is a professionally working amateur choir consisting of 25 experienced singers and is conducted by the young conductor Martin Nagashima Toft. Read more about us in these pages.
