CAMERATA performs at choir festival

May 17th in Aarhus Cathedral

 

The festival
From 17th to 20th of May, the central churches of Aarhus will be packed with concerts of high musical qualitiy and nerve. Ten concerts in four days invites you to experience new Danish church music and will give you a unique insight into a living contemporary choir tradition.


The choirs
The festival presents ten of the very best choirs in Denmark: Sct. Peders Concert Choir, Copenhagen Chamber Choir CAMERATA, Lille MUKO, Holmens Vocal Ensemble, Academic Choir Aarhus, Fyns Chamber Choir, Concert Clemens with Aarhus Sinfonietta, Sokkelund Sangkor, Hymnia, Musica Ficta and Aarhus University Choir.

CAMERATA will perform at Aarhus Cathedral Thursday, May 17th at 8 pm

Tickets: 75 kr. / 50 kr. (concessions)
Partout: all 10 concerts for 350 kr.

CAMERATA åbner klassisk korfestival

17. maj i Aarhus Domkirke

Festivalen
Fra 17. – 20. maj vil Aarhus’ centrale kirker bugne med koncerter, hvor den musikalske kvalitet og nerve er i top. Med 10 korkoncerter er I inviteret til at opleve ny dansk kormusik og få et enestående indblik i den levende nutidige kortradition vi har i Danmark.

Det bliver en fantastisk begivenhed hvor cremen af danske kor deltager – Sct. Peders Koncertkor, Kammerkoret CAMERATA, Lille MUKO, Holmens Vokalensemble, Akademisk Kor Århus, Fyns Kammerkor, Concert Clemens med Aarhus Sinfonietta, Sokkelund Sangkor, Hymnia, Musica Ficta og Aarhus Universitetskor.

Kammerkoret CAMERATA synger i Aarhus Domkirke torsdag den 17. maj, kl. 20.00

Experience Bach’s St Matthew Passion this EasterOplev Bachs Matthæuspassion i påsken

On Good Friday, the 6th of April, the Copenhagen Chamber Choir CAMERATA will be singing Bach’s St Matthew Passion in Holmens Church at 7:30 pm.

April 5th: available tickets are sold at the entrance

The St Matthew Passion is one of the key classics for the Easter season, and Camerata’s version will be conducted by Cecilia Martin-Löf who is associated with the Danish National Radio (DR).
The orchestra is made up of musicians from the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra (Sjællands Symfoniorkester), the Danish National Symphony Orchestra, and the Royal Danish Orchestra (Det Kgl. Kapel).

The concert will be sung in German.

Matthæuspassionen er en af påsketidens centrale klassikere, og Cameratas udgave dirigeres af Cecilia Martin-Löf, som er tilknyttet Danmarks Radio.

Orkesteret er sammensat af musikere fra hhv. Sjællands Symfoniorkester, DR SymfoniOrkesteret og Det Kgl. Kapel.
